Washing Instructions for synthetic wigs.

Learn how to wash your wig in 9 easy steps. If you wear your synthetic wig daily you can wash it every 2 to 4 weeks.

1. Get Ready

  • Before you wash the wig be sure to gently detangle the hair using a wide tooth comb, or you may finger comb the hair.
  • Carefully comb through the hair and  remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/or fingers. 

 

 

2. Using Shampoo

  • Fill a bowl with cold water (please don't use hot water, because it can cause damage to the fibers).
  • Mix a small amount of shampoo into the water.

3. Washing

  • Put your wig into the bowl, and allow it to soak for about 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse shampoo out with cold clean water.

4. Add Conditioner 

  • Apply a generous amount of  conditioner  to your wig, from the roots to ends.
  • Leave in 3 –5 minutes.
  • Rinse by placing the wig once more in some fresh cold water.

 Washing

  • To make sure the wig is super clean you can apply shampoo again, or you may skip to step 7.
  • Put your wig into the bowl, and allow it to soak for 1 to 2 minutes.

Rinse With water

  • Rinse by placing the wig once more in some fresh cold water.

7. Towel The hair

  • Place the wig in a towel, and gently pat dry.
  • Remove the wig from the towel.

8. Hang To Air Dry

  • Place the wig on a wig stand to let it air dry. 
  • Be sure not to use a hair dryer, because excess heat can  damage the hair.

9. After Washing

  • Once the wig is completely dry you may style, and wear your beautiful fresh smelling wig. Enjoy!
